Bill has been a parish priest, author, and teacher for over forty years, serving churches in Virginia, Connecticut, and Chicago, most recently, Emmanuel, in Delaplane, Virginia. He has been a consultant to religious and non-profit organizations, and has worked in interfaith relations in Virginia and abroad. The author of numerous books and articles, he holds degrees from various universities including the PhD from the University of Chicago. Bill is a native of Richmond and a cradle Episcopalian. He and his wife, Austin, have a daughter and two grandsons. Lola, a playful Wheaten terrier, rounds out their family.
