Group Ministries

We have many groups ministries for men, women, and youth: study and prayer groups, outreach, and fellowship activities. Most ministries are meeting in-person, and some offer a Zoom option. Events Calendar

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew (BoSA) is a worldwide ministry bringing men and boys to Christ. BoSA endeavors to accomplish this mission through the threefold disciplines of Prayer, Study and Service.  BoSA holds an in-person meeting each Tuesday at 7 AM in the Parish Hall. Lectio Divina – Online women’s group gathers on Zoom each Tuesday evening at 7 PM. Practicing Lectio Divina, each person reads, reflects, and prays, on selected scripture, currently focusing on the Book of Ecclesiastes. Daughters of the King (DOK) – St. Monnica’s Chapter, is an Order for women who are in communion with the Episcopal Church. Members make a pledge to daily prayer, service, and personal evangelism, to make Jesus Christ known to others. Contact Kitty: momeka@comcast.net.

Junior Daughters of the King – Deus Corona Gloriae (Crowned with God’s Glory) Chapter, is an Order extended to all baptized girls, ages 7 to 21 years. In a loving and supportive environment, these girls make a promise of daily prayer and service to our Lord Jesus. St. Thomas Circle is a women’s fellowship group that gathers on the third Tuesday of the month to share a potluck meal, offering support, fellowship, and laughs with one another. Contact Debbie: dchoff05@yahoo.com.

Super Seniors is a social group (you don’t have to be a church member to participate) who enjoy playing one-on-one, group, and team games like Bingo, Chess, Scrabble, Dominoes, Trivia, Bongo, etc. Bring your favorite game to share. Light refreshments are provided. The group meets on the first and third Thursday every month at 1 PM – 3 PM, in the Gathering Room. Contact Barbara: dicknbarb@gmail.com.

Supper Club is a fellowship of members and friends who gather at a different restaurant (Dutch-Treat) on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 PM. All are welcome. For information or to reserve a seat, contact Debbie: dchoff05@yahoo.com.

St. Dunstan’s Handbell Choir – Learn how to play traditional handbells. All teens and adults are welcome, no experience necessary. Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7 PM. For information, contact Janet: jmadamspotter@gmail.com.

The Culpeper Food Closet
The Food Closet is an outreach ministry that provides food and personal care items to Culpeper families, individuals, and seniors in need of assistance. Hours are Monday – Friday | 9 AM – 12 PM and also Thursdays at 4 PM – 6 PM. Please contact Sam’s Place before visiting the Food Closet.
