Why Should We Give?

Giving is a way to worship God — to honor Him as your provider, and remind yourself that all of your resources belong to Him, provided through His grace. God instituted giving as a way to worship Him, to protect our hearts from greed, and to support the work of the church, care for the poor, and help to share the Gospel to communities around the world.

We accept various ways for you to contribute monetarily, including online giving and traditional giving. The best way to support the ministry of St. Stephen’s is to pledge your annual giving in advance. This allows us to plan our budget and programs effectively and responsibly. Pledge Now

Option 1 – Online Giving
As a convenience, we are set up to accept donations online using a credit or debit card. This method will allow you to give quickly and conveniently in any amount you wish. You may give a one-time donation or set up a recurring monthly donation. We use the PayPal giving tools, so your donations are always safe and secure. You do not need to have your own PayPal account.

A gift to our General Church Fund helps us to keep our annual budget balanced, paying for both monthly and unplanned expenses. The Rector’s Discretionary fund is managed by the rector and deacon. They use the majority of money donated to this fund to help people in immediate need of assistance for things such as prescriptions, utility bills, gas, and public transportation.
