By the Church's Canon Law, each couple is required to schedule a series of pre-marital counseling sessions with the officiating priest.

Therefore, before a date is officially set and announced, you should contact the Rector and the facilities coordinator to clear the dates on the events calendar of the church. The Rector of this parish, or a person approved by him, will conduct all weddings in this church.

The Episcopal Church has a minimum 30 day notification requirement - persons who have been previously married and divorced may not be married in the Episcopal Church until the divorce has been final for one year. Permission by the Bishop is required and the wedding should not be announced until the Bishop's permission has been received.

The Rector is responsible for the conduct of public worship in the Episcopal Church. He will work with you to make sure your service runs smoothly. We will do everything possible to make your day special and memorable.
