St. Stephen's Episcopal Church
"Sharing What God Has Given, With Glad and Generous Hearts."
A men’s organization, whose purpose is “the spread of Christ’s Kingdom among men and boys” through the disciplines of prayer, study and service. We meet in the Parish Hall every Tuesday morning, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, study and fellowship. We also meet every Sunday in the Rector’s office (Sept.-May at 10:00 a.m. and June–Aug. at 9:00 a.m.) For more information, please contact Jon Whitman at 540-825-4443.
St. Thomas Circle
This women’s group meets at a different member’s house on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. for a potluck supper, socializing and to support one another.

St. Monnica Chapter
DOK is a spiritual sisterhood of women dedicated to a life of Prayer, Service and Evangelism; we have made a commitment to Jesus as our Savior, and we follow Him as Lord of our lives. We meet the first and third Saturday of each month at 9 am in the Choir Room, and all women of the church are welcome to attend our meetings.
Supper Club
This is a social group of church members who join on the third Wednesday of every month (except during Lent) at different area restaurants for socializing and fellowship. Dinners are paid dutch-treat style, with a wide range of menu prices.
Sunday Coffee Hour
Every Sunday we gather together after the 10:30 a.m. service for fellowship social, coffee and light snacks. Each week a different group hosts Coffee Hour.
Scrapbooking Club
On the 3rd Sat. at 4 p.m. every month, we get together for fellowship and scarpbooking. Often we bring snacks to share. We have beginner scrapbookers, and advanced.
Altar Guild
This guild is responsible for preparing the altar for all church services. Responsibilities include making sure the proper liturgy colors and cloths are used, arranging flowers, setting out bulletins, setting the hymnal board and decorating for holidays.
Choir
Our organist leads our choir in music and song. Practice is held Sunday mornings before the 10:30 a.m. service Additional practices are added during Advent.
Acolytes
Young adults serve at the altar, assisting the clergy in the conduct of worship.
Lay Readers
These members of the congregation are licensed to assist ordained clergy in conducting services. They read the lessons and prayers for services and administer the Chalice during Holy Communion.
Ushers
Ushers are scheduled for our 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. They welcome and seat people, hand out bulletins, help visitors, and assist people during Holy Communion.
Garden Committee
Grounds maintenance is guided by nature. There is a push in early spring to prepare for Easter. Maintaining the gardens from weeds and drought during the summer and leaves in the fall are ongoing projects.
