The Culpeper Food Closet:
As spring draws to an end each year, and throughout the summer months, people tend to forget that the need for food assistance continues unabated. Everyday we see families who are economically struggling and who deeply appreciate the food and supplies we are able to give them through the generous donations from the good people of Culpeper. Currently, food and monetary donations are down drastically, from all sources. Our shelves are bare and we truly need your help. For as little as .75 cents you can donate even a can of soup or vegetables. If everyone brought one item to church on Sunday, it would make a big difference and we would be deeply grateful.
Our weekly Need of the Week:
- any canned soup
- any canned vegetable
- boxed meals which include meat
- Plastic Bags
- Please, NO egg cartons at this time
