Groups, Committees and Fellowship
The Vestry (Church Board)
The Vestry meets on the second Monday of every month to discuss all aspects of the church (membership, financial, future, ministries and outreach programs. It’s composed of 15 active church members, with three members elected to three-year terms.

Canterbury Way
We feel the direction for this committee is not just about money but to awaken the church and our members to what stewardship of our lives might mean and look like.

Grants Committee

The Lewis-Troth Scholarship Committee
 This scholarship offers supports to post high school students in need of financial assistance. You may apply for the scholarship or serve on this committee.

The Worship & Prayer Committee
This group coordinates the behind the scenes activity supporting the many worship services, with the Rector. We meet on the fourth Wednesday of the odd numbered month to plan services.

Christian Education Committee
Discuss and plan the Sunday school and Bible study lessons for the year.

Altar Guild
This group of women is responsible for preparing the altar for all church services. Some of our responsibilities are to make sure the proper liturgy colors and cloths are used, arrange the flowers, set out bulletins, set the hymnal board and decorate for holidays. We are always in need and welcome new members.

Choir
Our organist leads our choir in music and song. Practice is held Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Acolytes
These young adults serve at the altar, assisting the clergy in the conduct of worship.

Ushers
We have scheduled ushers at our 11:00 HE service. They welcome and seat people, hand out bulletins, help visitors, and assist people during Holy Communion. If you would like to be of service, please contact the church office for scheduling.

Lay Readers
These members of the congregation are licensed to assist ordained clergy in conducting services. They read the lessons and prayers for services and administer the Chalice during Holy Communion.

Annual Parish Retreat
We’re always looking for members to be a part of our planning committee.
Garden Committee
Grounds maintenance is guided by nature. We have a push to get everything cleaned up for Easter in the spring and then maintain the gardens from weeds and drought during the summer. A few dedicated committee members would be welcome since the new building has expanded the areas needing care.

Sunday Coffee Hour
Every Sunday we gather together after each service for a fellowship social and Coffee Hour. A different church group or member has signed up to host the Coffee Hour, preparing and setting up a small, buffet style table of refreshments.

Welcoming / Membership Committee
A group of members who warmly welcome visitors and new members; providing them with information about our community

Supper Club
Church members join for dinner at area restaurants, once a month, for socializing and fellowship. We pay Dutch-treat and try to cover the spectrum of $ to $$$ menu ranges.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
A group of knitters or crocheters gather together on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at 9:00 a.m., to make shawls for people in need of healing. Anyone is welcome to join us. For more information contact Nancy Crow at crow39@comcast.net.

Books for Coffeewood Correctional Center
Books are collected to be given to the prisoners at Coffeewood. You can drop off donations in the church office during normal business hours or in the Parish Hall Foyer. For more information, please contact Karen in the office.

Revelation Youth Group
A group of middle and high school age teens who have a contemporary vision for worship, prayer and praise. We are a new group with a new youth area to share after school with our own lounge area, pool table, theater room and chapel. Please join us for fellowship and pizza every Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew
This men’s organization purpose is “the spread of Christ’s Kingdom among men and boys” through the disciplines of prayer, study and service. We meet in the Parish Hall every Tuesday morning, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. for breakfast, study and fellowship.

ECW ~ St. Anne’s Chapter
Open to all women of the church, these ladies meet once a month, with the exception of summer break, for study, prayer, support and offering service through hospitality and fundraising.

St. Thomas Circle
Meeting once a month a member’s home, this group of women share a meal, socialize and support one another. Our group hosts the 11:00 a.m. Coffee Hour on the third Sunday of each month and also coordinates with other members of the church to help at the church whenever needed.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS is held for one week during the summer school break. Children, ages 5 through 5th grades, learn lessons and teaching of Jesus through crafts, games and fellowship.

Lenten Dinner and Study
Every Wednesday evening during Lent, we hold a potluck dinner followed by a study session. Child care is available in the nursery.
